Sporty or practical

What cars do it for you?

I personally have only ever owned four cars, though that has been in 9 years so it is not such a bad number.

But since hubby and I got together, and we shared cars, the number is huge. I will catalogue the list since then, which includes my four.

When I met him in 1986 he had a :

White Vauxhall Nova Antibes - lovely, the car he had when we first started dating, so lots of happy memories :)

then

Black Fiat X19 - looked great, was rubbish

Dark blue VW Polo Coupe - taken in exchange for rubbish car from garage, never our true love.

White Nova Sting - cool but wee, our pre kids car

Ford Escort Encore - boring but did the job

Ford Escort Estate red - boring but did the job

Ford Escort SI - boring but did the job

Hubby thinks another estate in here (mmmm) - boring but did the job

Ford Escort Si estate - boring but did the job (can you tell DH liked Fords?)

Green Fiat Uno - my first purchase :)

Silver Nissan Almera - smashing car, very sporty, had all the kit

Oyster silver Fiat Punto - my first ever brand new car

Green Volvo S70 - gorgeous to drive, automatic, but thirsty, and not as powerful as we would have liked

Red Daihatsu YRV - my second brand new car, great value

Trophy blue MG ZS - hubby's joy, I never liked it

Cafe Latte Nissan Primera - current family car, again, has all the kit, you cannot beat Japanese for the goodies.
And bought at the end of 2006, a 1994 Turquoise Toyota Celica - old, but boy does it have the look!

Phew - 17 I make that! Though, between us we have been driving for 52 years LOL so maybe that is not a lot.

That is not counting all the company vehicles hubby has had (for 20+ years they were vans though, and they don't count.)

The latest, the Celica, is purely a toy ... a small expenditure on ebay and a project for hubby to play with and for me to pose in!

Is that such a big list? Probably!
